Making a VCarve US Flag using VCarve Pro and CNC.
Sometimes, work is just work and it is hard to get excited by it, but this VCarve project was a bit different. Making a highly detailed flag in Vectric VCarve Pro, adding my little special woodworking details and then milling it on my CNC was just fun and for a good cause. Come with me through the video and I will show you step by step what I did to create this cool project.

Correction To Video!!!
Repeatedly through the video I called the RC-45711 bit a 45 degree bit… I have no idea why I did that and I apologize. It is a 90 degree! This is the one you want.
Furthermore, the smaller V-bit is also a 90 degree. I don’t think I made the mistake on that one. This is one of my favorite V bits as it structure is solid and not flimsy. Many V-bits are two flute and are prone to wear when cutting harder materials. The 45626-k is designed for waste removal and provides more shank to prevent damage.
Make sure to check out the rest of my website and blog! My store has many of the common items I personally use and the WHY behind it.
Have a great one!
